Pan-Indian superstar Prabhas is celebrating his 41st birthday today (October 23) and from morning itself, social media has been already flooded with special wishes and trending hashtags from his massive fan base, netizens and several celebrities from the Indian film fraternity. Christened as Venkata Satyanarayana Prabhas Raju Uppalapati, the ‘Baahubali’ star was born to Telugu producer Surya Narayana Raju and Siva Kumari in 1979.

He also happens to be the nephew of yesteryear superstar Krishnam Raju. After kicking off his celluloid journey with Eeswar in 2002, Prabhas acquired his first box-office success with Varsham and continued it with superhits like Chatrapathi, Darling, Mirchi and the mighty successful Baahubali franchise.
Ahead of his special day, Prabhas has reportedly made a humble request to all his fans and said that he would be more than happy if everyone follows it. According to a report in a news portal, the ‘Saaho’ actor doesn’t want his darlings to spend their hard-earned money on posters and banners. Instead, he wants them to share it with their family members.
He said “I would like to say one thing to my fans. Some people work for their daily expenses. If my film releases, they spend Rs 500 or Rs 1000 for banners and tickets. Please darlings, don't do that. Get one family biryani pack and eat along with your family. I will be happier.”
Currently, Prabhas is shooting for his upcoming project ‘Radhe Shyam’ in Italy. Starring Pooja Hegde as the leading lady, the romantic drama is set against the backdrop of Italy in the 1920s and the Mirchi star will be playing the role of Vikramaditya. He also has ‘Adipurush’ and Nag Ashwin’s sci-fi thriller in the pipeline.
