OGAAN launches new flagship store and it's BEAUTIFUL
What makes OGAAN special? Other than the fact that they recently launched their second flagship store in Malcha Marg, New Delhi; that they boasts of Anamika Khanna, Sanjay Garg, Peachoo, Payal Khandwala among other contemporary designers who are influencing the fashion industry; or that they have the coolest store-in-store fashion shop.
27 years ago, OGAAN opened in New Delhi with "the idea of promoting and showcasing great design and craftsmanship from all over India." To demonstrate just that OGAAN brought in some of the biggest names in Indian fashion to retail their first collections in the store and ever since they have continued to stock contemporary collections by established designers as well as younger, upcoming brands that are experimenting with textile and craft in beautiful new ways.

OGAAN's Director Aashti Bhartia and designer Anamika Khanna share a light moment
Speaking to us, the Director of OGAAN - Aashti Bhartia, told us how designers are picked for the store, "We're always looking at different designers and meeting new people. We have some people we've worked with for years like Anamika (Khanna). Her very first collection came to OGAAN as sample in a box we loved it so much that we ended up selling the whole thing. She's always doing something new. We are also always looking out for new talents, Payal Khandwala being one. Using Indian textiles and styling them in a very contemporary style. We got in touch with her, did an exhibition and it worked out very well. So now her first shop in Delhi is in this store."

There's a lot special about the place, the lovely breathtaking views of textiles and garments that occupies the first floor space of the skylight building with beautiful views of the old trees in the market will command all the attention. Designed by Alina Vadera of AVA Studios, the store features natural stone and wax finishes with natural light, and comfortable seating with large, spacious changing rooms. The Anamika Khanna changing room being our favourite. And for those who could possibly get exhausted from shopping there is an Ogaan cafe, Coast Cafe, with a terrace and a small indoor area. It's only a matter of months until OGAAN opens in late July.
Words cannot describe OGAAN the way pictures can. So keep scrolling to see the beautiful concept-driven fashion store:
