The former F1 driver took to social media, posting on his X public account that his Facebook account had been hacked and appealing for help from the social media giant. Fortunately, regular service has since resumed on his Facebook account, with fans able to continue following his life as he keeps racing in top-level motorsport.
Romain Grosjean's racing life after F1
The French-Swiss professional racing driver drove for France in Formula One on a full-time basis in Formula 1 in 2012 with Lotus and stayed there till 2015. He enjoyed his best year in his Formula 1 career while he was there with 10 podium places. He later relocated to Haas and remained there until 2020.
His Formula 1 career was brutally cut short during the 2020 Bahrain Grand Prix when he crashed in a terrible accident. Racing at close to 120 miles per hour, Grosjean's Haas vehicle crashed into the barrier, going up in flames upon impact. The French driver was trapped inside for 28 seconds before he amazingly escaped with light burns on his hands and ankles. The Halo safety feature was hailed all around for having saved his life.
