Goldberg is one of the most celebrated wrestlers in WWE. He is a prominent figure in the modern wrestling scenario. The legendary wrestler has announced his return to WWE in 2025 following a heated exchange between World Heavyweight Champion Gunther.
It is speculated that the wrestling icon is soon to make an appearance and is all set to lock horns with GUNTHER. However, this has not been confirmed yet by the company management, or Goldberg himself.
Meanwhile, fans and the WWE Universe believe that Goldberg is ready to appear in a WWE event soon. This reaction came after the Hall of Famer posted a recent tweet dropping major hints about his comeback and playing his final bout.

Goldberg drops a hint about his WWE comeback

Bill Goldberg, who is a two-time WWE Universal Champion, is all set to hang up his boots in 2025. After the icon appeared on Bad Blood, he had a verbal exchange of fierce words with GUNTHER after which he announced his return to put an end to his deserving career. In an interview, the icon announced that 2025 will be his last year.
He said during the interview: "You know 2025 Goldberg makes his uh return, retirement yeah. I got a couple of months to get ready you know, no date, no time so we'll see stay tuned.”
Recently, the WWE champion took to his X handle and posted a throwback memory of his WCW in-ring debut bout. Revisiting his memory and wrestling experience, Da Man wrote, " 1-0...not bad for a big Goldberg." Let's take a look at the tweet here:

However, this is not an official confirmation from the wrestler’s end about his final bout, this social media post has left fans and WWE enthusiasts wondering if Goldberg is planning to make a comeback and play his final bout, bidding goodbye to the ring forever.
Previously, Goldberg was set to appear on the January 27, 2025, edition of WWE RAW, which emanated live from Atlanta. However, the match was not scheduled despite reports of his appearance.
As per reports, WWE has no plans of featuring the iconic wrestler and it is not confirmed yet if Goldberg’s last bout will be against GUNTHER or somebody else. Reports suggest that the confirmation will be announced very soon by the company. There could also be a possibility of both of them featuring at WrestleMania 41.
