“We coming for you”- Fans rally for Booker T amidst beef with Swerve Strickland on WWE NXT

The NXT fans erupted in full support for Booker T at this week's WWE NXT amidst his ongoing feud with Swerve Strickland.
The world of professional wrestling has witnessed an emerging feud between WWE Hall of Famer Booker T and AEW star Swerve Strickland. This began after Strickland claimed that black wrestlers did not get meaningful opportunities in WWE, while Booker totally disagreed with the same. Following the former AEW World Champion's scratching remarks against Booker T at the end of the AEW Dynasty event, the NXT fans made it clear that they were on Booker T's side in this feud.
Booker T arrived in the Capitol Wrestling Center for this week's edition of WWE NXT to fulfill his weekly duties as a commentator. Before the show went on air, Booker arrived ringside and fans erupted in loud chants for the five-time WCW Champion. Moreover, the NXT fans made it clear that they were with King Booker in his feud with Swerve Strickland. This was evident with the loud "We coming for you" chants from the audience.

Swerve Strickland and Booker T have been going back and forth against each other regarding the representation of black wrestlers in WWE. Following multiple verbal exchanges online, Swerve Strickland escalated the issue further after his main event title match at AEW Dynasty 2025 event. The former Hit Row member grabbed the microphone and spoke about fans supporting him in AEW and the marquee opportunities he got that made him a top star.
As he ended the promo, Strickland did not hesitate to take a shot at Booker T with a scratching cuss. The six-time World Champion responded to the remark on his Hall of Fame podcast stating, "Woke up this morning and I wondered, why is my name trending? I see the video of Swerve Strickland saying, 'F Booker T' at the end of Dynasty. I'm not gonna even get upset about it. I'm going to give Swerve Strickland a little bit of advice, just a little bit. That advice would be, don't be talking about something other than the pay-per-view at the end of the night. That's the main event and the last thing people are going to remember. The last people are going to remember is me, my name being said."
With the feud between Swerve and Booker T escalating by the week, it remains to be seen what will happen next as both wrestling stars continue to stick to their viewpoints.
