WWE had already spoiled the ending of the Elimination Chamber 2025 event right before the show took place.
WWE pulled the trigger on
John Cena embracing the dark side at the Elimination Chamber 2025 Premium Live Event last weekend. The Cenation Leader shocked the world by aligning himself with The Final Boss,
The Rock, and his associate, who came to the ring, Travis Scott.
He dropped the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes to his knees and cemented his heel turn in the final run of his illustrious career in WWE. However, looking at the events that went down, it seems that WWE had already teased the final moments of Elimination Chamber right before the show took place in Toronto, Canada.
Did WWE spoil the ending of WWE Elimination Chamber 2025, which saw John Cena turn heel even before it happened?
John Cena had already announced himself for the WWE Elimination Chamber event at the Royal Rumble PLE post-show. He straight away declared himself for the Men's chamber match. Weeks before the WWE Elimination Chamber, The Rock and Travis Scott were also announced to be a part of the last Premium Live Event before WrestleMania 41.
Just days before the event went down in Toronto, Canada, WWE released a new promotional poster featuring The Rock, John Cena, and Travis Scott. They seemingly spoiled the ending of the event before it even happened, and there was hardly any fan or outlet who were able to figure out the hint. This was solidified by the fact that Triple H and his regime had kept John Cena's heel turn close to the vest and not revealed to the majority of the backstage personnel and superstars.
John Cena won the opportunity to challenge Cody Rhodes & then aligned with The Rock
John Cena participated in the 2025 Men's Elimination Chamber match, which also featured CM Punk, Logan Paul, Seth Rollins, LA Knight, Drew McIntyre, and Damien Priest. He outlasted all the top five competitors in the chamber to win his record-tying fourth Elimination Chamber. With his victory, Cena will now challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE title at WrestleMania 41.
Rhodes came down to the ring to congratulate him, but the celebrations were interrupted by the arrival of The Rock and Travis Scott. Just when Rhodes rejected The Final Boss' offer, he gave the signal to Cena, who kicked Rhodes low, followed by a massive beating he suffered at the hands of the trio. The show ended with Cena, Rock, and Scott standing side by side as Cody was left covered in his blood and another tough road to WrestleMania ahead of him.
