Actress Payal Rajput has taken to her social media handle to share an emotional note about her father being diagnosed with cancer, along with a moving photo of his hands held in hers by the hospital bedside. Payal posted on her Instagram account to inform her followers about her father’s diagnosis and that he had begun his first round of chemotherapy. Payal wrote, “Hello everyone. My father has recently been diagnosed with oesophageal carcinoma (cancer).

Directed by Pariyerum Perumal fame director Mari Selvaraj, the film also stars Rajisha Vijayan as the female lead.

Roshini Haripriyan, known for Barathi Kannamma, makes silver screen debut in Garudan alongside Soori. Film set to release on May 31, directed by R. S. Durai Senthilkumar.
