'Mithai' continues to be the most-watched Bengali show

Soumitrisha Kundu and Adrit Roy starrer ‘Mithai’, has been ruling the top spot on the TRP charts for the past few months, sustained its position this week too. It is in the numero uno spot on TRP charts leaving all other daily soaps behind. The sweet and sour relationship between protagonist Mitha and Siddhartha has been working for the show.
Right after ‘Mithai’, there is ‘Aparajita Apu’.The television serial, that stars Rohaan Bhattacharjee and Susmita Dey in the lead roles, has climbed up the ladder this time by outshining ‘Khorkuto’. Last week, it was in the third spot. Apu and Deepu’s ‘khatti mithi nokjhok’ is certainly the USP of ‘Aparajita Apu’.
‘Khorkuto’ is in the third spot this time on the TRP charts. The light-hearted comedy track revolving around Koushik’s (played by Abhishek Chatterjee) plan to stage Gungun’s (played by Trina Saha) fake marriage and his jamai raja Soujanya’s (Koushik Roy) counter plan to teach him a lesson, seems to have impressed the audience.
‘Krishnakoli’, on the other hand, has been airing high-voltage drama. Right from Nikhil’s ( played by Neel Bhattacharya) abduction, Ashok’s (played by Vivaan Ghosh) nasty plan to harm him and Shyama’s (played by Tiyasha Roy) heroic rescue operation, added some drama to the current storyline. The show has bagged fourth spot on the TRP charts. ‘Jamuna Dhaki’ is back to the top 5 club this time. The show has bagged the fifth spot on the charts. The television serial features Rubel Das and Sweta Bhattacharya as the lead jodi.
