The news of rerunning ‘Dena Paona’, has left actor Bhaskar Banerjee all emotional.
The seasoned actor is a part of the entertainment industry for a long time. He has essayed different characters on-screen.
“It is such a wonderful story. We rarely get such roles. So, I was extremely happy to have the opportunity. This is an author-backed role with great dialogues,” said Bhaskar. The actor considers the project close to his heart. He added, “It was a lovely experience. To have it aired on Rabindra Jayanti makes the moment even more special. These stories are priceless. Now all the channels are having reruns but I feel this will always be timeless and a real treat for the viewers.”
Actress Ena Saha was also a part of the series. She is giving television a miss and stays busy with her filmy career these days. But the news or airing ‘Dena Paona’ made her nostalgic. She said, “I’m really excited that the show will be aired once again starting from Rabindra Jayanti. We all had a great time shooting in a house in North Kolkata. I had some problems with my diction and Rana da helped me during the shoot. Even today, I follow his suggestions. I’m also excited that I’ll get to see myself and evaluate how I fared during that time.”
