Shagun and Shaka Laka Boom Boom actress Ekta Jain embarked on a trip to Mahakaleshwar at Ujjain, a few days before Mahashivratri. The Taal actress, shared, "The temple fills you with immense spiritual peace and energy. The chants and the devotion uplift you from your spirits. The grand Mahakal Aarti was an unforgettable moment bringing a deep sense of peace to the mind and soul. I am glad I visited Ujjain a few days prior to Mahashivratri. It was a beautiful experience and I am thankful that I got this opportunity."
Ekta also shared how she enjoyed the local cuisine at Ujjain and Indore. She said, "I enjoyed eating poha and jalebi, the local street food of Madhya Pradesh. The state has many temples and is rich in its culture and heritage structures." She added, "The cleanliness of Indore city and the efforts made under the ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.’ are noteworthy. I feel it is one of the cleanest cities in India and would hope that all cities in India make efforts to keep the surroundings clean."
On the work front, Ekta was last seen in the TV show Apun Toh Bas Vaise Hi and acted in films like Zindagi Shatranj Hai and Khalli Balli. She said, "I enjoy playing diverse roles. I have played a variety of roles in TV shows and films. I also acted in a web series recently with Shahwar Ali, titled Lucky Curse. I am glad I am getting meaningful and interesting roles. It is important to consistently get good work projects in our field."
