Kaun Banega Crorepati 16: Can you guess the answer of this Rs 3,20,000 question which contestant Hussain Ahmed could not answer?

Hussain Ahmed, an MBBS student from Hyderabad, won Rs 1,60,000 on Kaun Banega Crorepati 16. He discussed his desire for independence and hostel life with Amitabh Bachchan. Although he missed the chance to double his winnings, he remained positive throughout his journey on the show.
Kaun Banega Crorepati 16: Can you guess the answer of this Rs 3,20,000 question which contestant Hussain Ahmed could not answer?
The latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 began with host Amitabh Bachchan conducting the Fastest Finger First round. Hussain Ahmed answered the question in the shortest time and secured his place on the hot seat.
A short video introduced Hussain's journey, revealing that he is a 21-year-old MBBS student from Hyderabad. He shared that becoming a doctor is not just his dream but an integral part of his identity, as he comes from a family of doctors.
KBC 16 is celebrating India @ 25, marking 25 glorious years of the quiz show. To honor the occasion, the makers welcomed Hussain to play the game and played a video featuring his family's legacy in medicine. The video showcased his grandmother and mother, both gynecologists, his father, who is also a doctor, and his younger brother, who is currently pursuing MBBS.
Host Amitabh Bachchan begins the game by presenting the first question for Rs 1,000:
"What is the total when you add the numbers in the idiom 'Ek Anaar Sau Bimaar'?"
Hussain quickly responds with Option C) 101, which is the correct answer.
Next, Hussain faces the Super Sawaal question: "Which is the only state that borders Punjab besides Rajasthan and Haryana?"
He takes a guess and answers Jammu and Kashmir, but unfortunately, it is incorrect. The correct answer is Himachal Pradesh.
As a result, Hussain misses the opportunity to earn the 'Dugnastraa', which could have doubled his winnings.
While conversing with Hussain, Amitabh Bachchan curiously asks why he prefers staying in the hostel despite his college being just 10 minutes from home.
Hussain responds by saying that Big B must already be familiar with hostel life. He then humorously shares how he constantly argues with his mother over the same question, as she, too, frequently asks why he insists on staying in the hostel when home is so close. Mr. Bachchan agrees with Hussain, acknowledging that hostel life offers a sense of independence that cannot be experienced while living at home. Hussain candidly tells Amitabh Bachchan that he is tired of staying at home under his parents' rules. He expresses his desire for independence and his own space, leaving his mother visibly shocked by his statement. When Big B asks Hussain if he has got permission from parents to stay at the hostel, the contestant asks the host to request his mother. Mr Bachchcan very politely requests Hussain's mother but she very clearly says no.
When Hussain requests Big B to try again and convince his mother, the megastar says, "Ek cheez bataate hain bhaisahab aapko, mahila jab ek baar kisi cheez ko keh de no, uske baad kuch poochna he nahi chahiye."
Hussain gears up to answer next question for Rs 80,000. Which team was captained by Manank Patel at the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup? As he is not sure of the answer, he takes the help of 'Audience Poll' lifeline. He goes with Option B) United States Of America.
Next the contestant gets stuck at the question for Rs 3,20,000 and he takes the help of his lifeline, 'Video call a friend'. In January 2025, PM Shri Narendra Modi remotely flagged off a special rain departing from Delhi in honour of what occasion? As he doesn't get any help from the lifeline, he decides to quit the show.
However, before leaving the show, Big B asks Hussain to take a guess and he selects Option A) Makar Sankranti but it is an incorrect answer. The correct answer is Option B) Pravasi Bhartiya Diwas.
Hussain takes home Rs 1,60,000.
