Mom-to-be Drashti Dhami wishes to skip the last month of pregnancy in a hilarious video, says 'Can we skip the 9th month'

Drashti Dhami is expecting her first child, and after nine years of marriage, she and her husband, Neeraj Khemka, are looking forward to welcoming their baby. The television personality, who is well-known for her strong social media presence, has been updating her fans on her pregnancy journey. She has openly shared that the final stages of her pregnancy have been the toughest part of her journey. Her most recent video discusses the same topic but with a twist.
Drashti took to Instagram and posted a video with the remark, "Can we skip the 9th month." The video was another instalment in her series of pregnancy diaries, highlighting various aspects of the nine-month journey. In the video, she attempted a viral social media trend. Talking about it, the popular sentence from AJR's song The Good Part is: "It's so hard. "Can we skip to the good part?" got fairly popular on social media.
Fans, including both well-known celebrities, have created videos including the trendy two-liners. In contrast, the following section of the Reel features some positive moments from a variety of topics that the creator enjoys. However, when Drashti attempted to delightfully skip the ninth month of her pregnancy and land neatly on the next "good part" of her life, the video remained unchanged.
The rest of the voice in Drashti's video said, "Hey, it doesn't really work that way," which surprised the actress. Then, with a bewildered expression on her face, she was caught lip-syncing to "What do you mean?" "I did that thing with the hand," pointing to the hand gesture used to demonstrate the viral trending video's transition effects. However, she was unhappy to realise that the viral trend is not relevant while pregnant in real life.
We must add that Dhrashti's facial expressions made us laugh out loud. She captioned the video, "It's been a while," and included a pregnant woman emoji. In the video, the actress wore a body-hugging grey dress and showed off her full-grown baby bump. She kept her makeup subtle and left her curls loose.

Drashti and Neeraj previously announced that they were expecting their first baby in October 2024. A month ago, the couple's family held a baby shower ceremony for the actress. Several images from the small party have gone viral on social media. In the glances, the expectant mother showed off her baby bump in a one-shoulder blue satin dress. The actress wore her hair open and accessorised with a golden choker and white flats. Meanwhile, her husband wore a checkered shirt with blue denim and white sneakers. The baby shower was attended by Drashti's closest industry friends, including actor Nakuul Mehta and his wife Jankee Parekh, as well as Sunayana Fozdar from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
