Naagin 6 actress Amrapali Gupta remembers late legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar

Actress Amrapali Gupta, who is a part of Naagin 6, says she could shift to Mumbai to pursue acting only because of late legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar.
She says, "Lata Mangeshkar serves as a strong source of inspiration for all those who dream. She is an example to determine how hard work and dedication can bring in any kind of success to a person’s life. I remember my father was her great fan.When I wanted to pursue acting and shift to Mumbai, I could only make him agree after giving Lataji's example. Like how when girls couldn’t enjoy independence but she became successful by being independent. Finally he permitted me to shift to Mumbai alone. So, in a way I owe my career to her. I'm thankful to her that she set examples that we too can do a lot for the family and the nation."
Amrapali earned fame after her debut show 'Teen Bahuraniyaan' and later she married actor Yash Sinha who was her co-star in the show. The duo also participated in the dance reality TV show 'Nach Baliye'.
Amrapali added that the Nightingale of India is their favourite. "If we talk about the Music Industry, Lata Mangeshkar is one such name that can never be forgotten. The lady with an enchanting voice has been spreading magic not only in the country but also at a global level with her charismatic voice. I have grown up listening to her. She is my husband Yash (Sinha) and my all time favorite. Lata Didi with an enchanting voice is one of the most inspirational personalities in the world who has set an example that any person can get success if he follows his passion with full dedication," she added.
Amrapali is popularly known for featuring in shows like 'Qubool Hai', 'Adhuri Kahaani Hamari', 'Ishqbaaz' among others.
