Actress Reyhna Pandit who was last seen in the TV show
Kumkum Bhagya completes a decade in the industry. While the actress has done a variety of roles, she is looking forward to bagging more meaty roles on TV in the future.
It's been a year since she's taken up any shows and talking about it, she says, "As an actor all that matters to me is my character, whether it is positive or negative. The character has to be important, the role has to be substantial."
After being a part of a show for many years, one tends to get too much into the character, says Reyhna. "After Kumkum Bhagya, I realised that I played the character for so long that somewhere l had forgotten the real. I had to connect with myself and focus on spending time doing things that I like. TV takes a lot out of you as an actor and a human being because one gives so much time and energy to it. Of course after my break, I am now just waiting for a good role to come my way and get back on screen " she adds.
The waiting period is tough for any actor and Reyhna agrees that it does make a person insecure. She says, "In fact, everyone feels insecure whether they are working on a project or not. It is human to feel insecure. I have my doubts at times but I have a positive frame of mind and that helps."
