Mangala Gowri Madve update, January 6: Soundarya drinks the spiked juice

In the latest episode of Mangala Gowri Madve, following Mangala's task, Balli hits Soundarya and informs Mangala about the same.
On the other hand, Soundarya comes to the conclusion that Mangala is plotting against her by instilling fear into Balli. An enraged Soundarya plots for her vengeance.
When the family members are busy prepping for the function at home, Soundarya and Balli hatch a plan together, where they decide to serve juice mixed with a powder to Mangala at the ceremony, which will make her act like she is possessed by the devil.
Soundarya commands Balli to mix intoxicated powder in Mangala's juice. However, Geetha learns about the plan and decides to exchanges the juice glasses.
Soundarya takes the glass which contains the spiked juice and slowly loses her senses. Geetha takes advantage and asks her friends to enjoy the fun.
Having consumed the spiked juice, Soundarya goes out of control and talks ill about Mangala. She slaps her and tries to harm her. When Rajeev's mother tries to stop her, Soundarya hits her and pushes her as well.
Assuming that Soundarya is possessed, the priest asks Mangala to hit her with neem twigs. Mangala initially objects to it but agrees to hit Soundarya upon the family members insistence.
After a while, Soundarya gets tired and loses her consciousness. The family members heave a sigh of relief. Simultaneously, Geetha meets Mangala in private and advise her to be careful.
