Marimayam fame
Vinod Kovoor is one of the much-loved actors on Malayalam TV. However, not many viewers know that the actor had tied the knot with his wife not once but four times. You heard it right.
In the recent episode of the Jagadish-hosted game show 'Panam Tharum Padam', Vinod Kovoor was the guest. During the interaction, the actor-host quizzed the guest about his 'four weddings'.
"It was my biggest dream to get married at Guruvayoor temple.
But, my parents denied the wish saying it's better to follow the tradition and get married at the bride's place. Unfortunately, during the ceremony, the electricity went off and we couldn't get a single good picture of the wedding. Years later, during our pilgrimage to Mookambika, we met a priest. He asked me whether I wished to get married in any specific place. When I shared my wish, he suggested to fulfill it. Thus, on the 18th wedding anniversary, I tied the knot again to my wife at Guruvayoor temple. Years after we got married twice both in Mookambika and Rameshwaram," he said in the episode.
Hearing the story, the host jokes that Vinood deserves a record of getting married for the maximum times to the same person.
