Girish Mohite to direct a cop film

Girish Mohite’s new directorial venture will explore the life of a policeman. The film titled ‘Laal Batti’ will show the other side of the police force and will also focus on their personal lives. With an aim to inculcate respect for policemen, the film will change the perspective of those who find mistakes in their work, and blame them for any untoward happenings in the society.
The film stars Mangesh Desai, Bhargavi Chirmule, Radha Kulkarni, Anil Gavas in the main roles. The film aims at bringing forth the issues faced by cops, and highlights their life beneath the uniform. The shooting of ‘Laal Batti’ will commence soon, says the report.
