Tamil show ‘Run’ goes off-air; actor Thilak gets emotional

Actor Thilak aka Ashwanth Seenu is emotional about the closure of the show ‘Run’. He has taken to his social media handle to express his feelings over the closure of the show.
Thilak wrote, “Run one of my favorite serial...am gonna miss u all..Thnks for the opportunity (sic)”

The show Run premiered on August 5, 2019 and came to an end on March 31, 2020 after airing for 197 episodes.
Besides Thilak (as Prabhu), Run featured Krishna (as Shakthivel), Chaya Singh (as Divya), Nizhalgal Ravi (as Dr N. Radhakrishnan "RK"), Pramodini Pammi (as Gayathri), Rindhya (as Shalini), Sindhu Shyam (as Meenakumari) and others. It was directed by Selva and K. Rajeev Prasad.
The show is known for its production values.
Thilak is currently seen in the serial Sundari Neeyum Sundaran Naanum (as Saravanan). Thilak is famous for his performances in the serials Nenjam Marappathillai (as Arjun), Thendral (as Avinash), Vamsam (as Muthu / Kathamuthu), Poove Poochudava (as Karthik) and Nalam Nalamariya Aaval (as Sathya). Thilak has acted in a few films also.
