‘Bihar safer than Delhi…’: Tejashwi Yadav’s response to Ashwini Choubey’s attack allegations

Comparing the safety situations between Delhi and Bihar over allegations by Union Minister of State for Consumer Affairs Ashwini Choubey of attack threats in Bihar, state’s Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav on January 17 in Patna denounced former’s claims. “Why does he not cry in Delhi as the safety situation in the National Capital is poorer than Bihar.” The Deputy CM also reminded the Union Minister of the rankings where Bihar stands at 22nd position as far as safety is concerned said Tejashwi Yadav. “I don’t know if he cried or what. BJP was in power for 17 years in Bihar. And if he is so scared, then why doesn’t he cry in Delhi? Situation of Delhi is poorer than Bihar. He was in the street, but nothing happened,” Deputy CM said. The remark was made over Union Minister Ashwini Choubey’s ‘attack attempt’ allegations that allegedly took place twice under 24 hours while he was in Buxar.
