Dia Mirza shares her throwback video from lockdown days, says she feels grateful that she had 'some sense of freedom'

The nationwide lockdown during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic gave us ample time to spend with our family and do things which we really love. Now, Bollywood actress and environmentalist Dia Mirza took to her Instagram handle to share a throwback video from her lockdown days last year. In the video, an elated Dia can be seen watering her plants in her garden while flashing a bright smile. In the caption Dia mentioned how she feels grateful for the time she had in her garden and ‘some sense of freedom’. She wrote, 'Thinking back to this time last year... when we were ‘locked’ down! Grateful for that time because despite everything we had our garden and some sense of freedom. My favourite chore was watering plants! What was yours?' Well, Dia Mirza recently tied the knot with her businessman beau Vaibhav Rekhi in a private and intimate wedding ceremony which was attended by only family members and few close friends. Her social media account is full of glimpses of her wedding ceremony. Dia's wedding also gained attention as the couple chose to forgo the traditional rituals such as Kanyadaan and Bidaai stating 'change begins with choice.' For the unversed, this is Dia's second marriage as she was previously married to Sahil Sangha in the year 2014 and later parted ways by announcing their separation in August 2019. For Vaibhav, too, this is a second marriage. He also has a daughter from his first marriage. Meanwhile, on the work front, Dia was last seen in the Anubhav Sinha directorial 'Thappad' starring Taapsee Pannu and will be next seen in the Telugu action-thriller 'Wild Dog' starring Nagarjuna.
