Hyderabad: BJP State President
G Kishan Reddy accused
Congress and BRS of indirectly aiding
AIMIM in the Hyderabad local authority MLC elections.
"AIMIM opposed the creation of a separate Telangana state during the movement. Now, BRS, which fought for the separate Telangana, is indirectly supporting the party and has asked the BRS corporators not to vote in the MLC polls," Kishan Reddy said while addressing the party corporators ahead of the MLC polls, on Monday. With the elections, people would know the real face of the Congress and BRS parties, he said.
He further accused BRS of disrespecting voters who opposed AIMIM in the GHMC elections by asking its corporators to refrain from participating in the MLC polling. Reddy questioned the secular claims of Congress and BRS, arguing that their support for AIMIM, which he described as a party catering to one religion and linked to the Razakars, contradicts their secular stance.
Reddy alleged that Congress and BRS were aiding AIMIM in winning assembly constituencies in Hyderabad's old city by dividing Hindu votes. He urged BJP corporators and ex-officio voters to actively participate in the polling, expressing confidence in BJP's victory.
Kishan said MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi is the "super boss" for Congress and BRS, influencing their strategies to secure MIM's victory
