Post release from jail in Pushpa 2 stampede case, Allu Arjun meets Chiranjeevi at his residence -See photo

A day after his release from Hyderabad jail, Allu Arjun visited his uncle, Chiranjeevi. On Sunday, videos showed the Pushpa 2 star driving out with his wife Sneha Reddy and their children to meet the veteran actor.
Earlier, Chiranjeevi’s wife, Surekha, visited Allu Arjun’s home in Jubilee Hills and was seen hugging him. Before this, Chiranjeevi himself had visited Arjun’s house shortly after his arrest.

On December 13, 2024, Allu Arjun was arrested in connection with a tragic incident at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad during the Pushpa 2: The Rule screening. A massive crowd gathered to see him and music director Devi Sri Prasad, leading to chaos. The theatre's gate collapsed, causing a stampede that claimed a woman's life and left her 9-year-old son seriously injured.

Allu Arjun was arrested from his home and placed in 14-day judicial custody. He received 4 weeks of interim bail on a personal bond of Rs 50,000, but delays in paperwork caused him to spend a night in jail.

After his release, Allu Arjun expressed deep sorrow over the woman's tragic death, describing the incident as extremely unfortunate. He conveyed his sympathy to the family, assuring them of his support. The actor emphasised that such an incident had never occurred before and expressed gratitude to those who stood by him.
On the work front, Allu Arjun is celebrating the success of Pushpa 2: The Rule, which has become one of the most anticipated films of the year. The movie, featuring Rashmika Mandanna, has received an overwhelming response from audiences and has already crossed Rs 1000 crore at the box office.
