Saba Azad claps back at trolls targeting her relationship with Hrithik Roshan: 'Can’t expect me to stay mum'

Bollywood’s real-life relationships often carry more drama than reel love stories. On top of that the scrutiny of social media, and the faceless trolls, sometimes make things all the more complicated. The entertainment industry’s beloved couple Saba Azad and Hrithik Roshan have also been no strangers to such complexities. However, Saba Azad has recently revealed she has developed a thick skin towards the trolls. Also, though she truly believes that ignorance is bliss, there are times when it is best to give a fitting reply.
In her recent interactions with the Screen, Saba Azad mentioned she has a terrible social media game; for instance, she can post things for three days in a row and then just disappear for a month. When it comes to social media, as a performing artist she has a “Can’t live with, can’t live without kind of relationship”
“It is a means to earn a living with brands and ads. Outside of that, as the dissatisfaction of the population rises, so does this kind of behaviour online. If you are a happy person, you won’t make fake accounts and troll people. Why would I care about someone from back and beyond, who is faceless, nameless, and frustrated with their lives?" she said.
She continued that in the beginning, she didn’t care and paid no attention. “ But then, as I wrap my head around it, this is just sad and it’s not worth losing sleep over. Now, I have developed a thick skin for it. I may have turned the other cheek for a long time, but once in a while, I feel that I still have some bite. You can’t keep coming at me and expect me to stay mum. I don’t care what such people say now," said the actor-singer.
For the unversed, Hrithik Roshan and Saba Azad began dating in 2022. They made their relationship Instagram official in October 2022 after Hrithik shared a picture with Saba.
