Pawan Kalyan's highly anticipated period action film, 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu', has finally locked in a new release date. Initially scheduled for March 29, 2025, the film was postponed due to pending post-production work. On the occasion of Holi, the makers announced that 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' will now hit theaters on May 9, 2025.
Sharing the news the makers wrote on social media, "The battle is set, and the fight for JUSTICE and DHARMA will be unstoppable! #HariHaraVeeraMallu charges into battle at breakneck speed, and NOTHING will alter the hunt this time. A saga of valor is all set to ignite the screens on May 9th, 2025."

Krish Jagarlamudi, the film is set in the 17th century, 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' is a historical action drama that tells the story of a legendary outlaw fighting against oppression during the Mughal Empire. The film promises to deliver a gripping narrative of valor and justice, with Pawan Kalyan in the lead role. The title was finalized in March 2021, and the film was initially planned to be released as just one instalment, before being divided into two parts.
The film features Bobby Deol as the antagonist, and has
Nidhhi Agerwal, Anupam Kher,
Jisshu Sengupta, Nargis Fakhri, and Nora Fatehi in pivotal roles. The film features music composed by Oscar winner M. M. Keeravani and cinematography by Gnana Shekar V. S. The VFX are supervised by Ben Lock.
Principal photography began in September 2020, but the film faced several delays due to the pandemic and Pawan Kalyan's political commitments. The makers have now confirmed that 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1 Sword vs Spirit' will release on May 9, 2025, in Telugu, with dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
The digital rights of the film have been acquired by Amazon Prime Video.
