"It is not easy": Ciara and Russell Wilson chose not to be intimate before marriage and the famous singer once opened up about how it was a "challenge"

Russel Wilson and his wife, famous singer, Ciara, have been married for close to a decade now and are parents to four children. They have a beautiful relationship and fans are in awe of them. In the last few months, Russel Wilson and Ciara have constantly teased each other in public about having a fifth child. But before the two tied the knot in 2016, they actually chose celibacy while they were dating each other.

Back in 2016, a few months before they tied the knot, Ciara spoke to Cosmopolitan about how they stay away from sleeping with each other.
Ciara said, “We're hanging in there. I'm not gonna lie. I'm human, so it is not easy, especially when I look at him and I think he is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen — that I've ever laid my eyes on, to be honest. I'm like, Look the other way! Look the other way!”
Later, in an interview to Access, Ciara said, "It's until the deal is sealed," adding, "It was an organic thing for him [Russell], and I think he was just being honest about where we are."
The couple finally tied the knot in 2016 after dating for around a year. They had their first child in 2017 and had their third child in 2023.

In 2013, Ciara was engaged to famous rapper Future and also shares a son with him. The NFL star, Russel Wilson, has welcomed his step son into the family with open arms and they are constantly seen hanging out with each other.

After Ciara and Russel Wilson welcomed their third child together in 2024, they have constantly joked about having a fifth child. Russel Wilson has teased Ciara in public about being ready to have a fifth child any time.
A few days ago, Ciara was attending Tobago and Trinidad Festival and she posted stunning pictures from the event. But it was Russel Wilson’s comments on her pictures that took all the spotlight.
The NFL star, Russel Wilson, joked about having a fifth child and wrote, “This my mating call I see… keep sippin’ on that @tentoonerum … Cinco goin’ to be on di way! 🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹 @ciara”.
Currently, Ciara is all busy promoting her new song which will be releasing on 4th April while the NFL star, Russel Wilson, is enjoying the offseason, after he recently signed a deal with the New York Giants for a whopping $10.5 million.
