Aastha Agarwal, who was last seen in the TV show Shiv Shakti, is all set to enter Pocket Main Aasmaan. The actress, who has been part of shows like Imlie, shared how she has an interesting role in Pocket Main Aasmaan. She said, "I play a professor in a medical college. My role will help Rani's (Abhika Malakar) academic career. I am glad that I have gotten an interesting opportunity in this show."
In an earlier interview with BT, Aastha had shared how she enjoy playing supporting roles in TV shows. She said, "Mostly supporting actors are like showpieces, just standing in the background, but that's not always the case. I don't see any reason to complain because there are tracks that focus on supporting actors as well. Supporting actors do get ample opportunities to perform in TV shows. And I am happy playing supporting roles because you can strike a good work-life balance."
Earlier Aastha was juggling two shows. She was a part of Ghum Hai Kisike Pyaar Meiin and Shiv Shakti. She said, "I enjoy working in TV. It was a challenge that time working in two shows. I learnt a lot about acting. My role in Shiv Shakti was not a full-fledged role so I could give more time to Ghum Hai Kisike Pyaar Meiin. In TV, one has to be willing to work hard and give your best. I enjoy working in TV. TV is a mass medium. It has a huge reach and that's why I feel it is quite interesting working in TV."
