Principal held for no action on abuse claims against prof

The principal of a govt college in Hathras, Mahavir Singh Chhokar, was arrested on Wednesday after summoning by police, booked on the charge of criminal conspiracy and sent to jail in the case of sexual exploitation of girl students by an institution professor. Police said he did not take any action against the professor after the victims first approached him.
