‘Good Bad Ugly’ box office collections day 14: Ajith Kumar’s film mints Rs 227 crores worldwide

Ajith Kumar’s action-packed entertainer ‘Good Bad Ugly’ continues its dream run at the box office, raking in a massive Rs 227 crore worldwide in just 14 days. Despite slight dips on some weekdays, the film’s performance remains solid, with strong hold in Tamil Nadu and decent traction in overseas markets.

According to the latest data from the Sacnilk website, the film has collected Rs 143.38 crore net in India, contributing to a gross total of Rs 164.9 crore domestically. Overseas collections stand at ₹62.1 crore, showing the film's global success. While the official verdict has yet to be declared, the commercial reception clearly signals a blockbuster.


The Tamil version continues to lead the charge, with a net total of Rs 137.48 crore so far. After a thunderous opening day with Rs 28.15 crore, the film maintained momentum over the first week. Day 14 brought in Rs 1.44 crore, a slight dip from Rs 1.79 crore on Day 13, showing a gradual decline typical in the second week of a major release.


In contrast, the Telugu dubbed version has seen more modest collections, with a cumulative net of approximately Rs 5.9 crore by Day 12. After an opening day of Rs 90 lakhs.
Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, ‘Good Bad Ugly’ showcases Ajith Kumar in a high-octane performance. The movie is treated in a fan-boy style which will surely impress the Ajith Kumar fans. ETimes review for the film reads, “This is an out-and-out Ajith show, and the actor seems to have had great fun revisiting the iconic moments from his previous blockbusters. In his last few films (especially his previous film, Vidaamuyarchi), he seemed to have made a conscious decision to pull back on hero glorification. While such an approach did get him a few admirers among the general audience, fans were largely underwhelmed. And this one seems to be Ajith doing a course correction to keep fans happy.”
