Three men wave saffron flags at dargah, 1 held

Prayagraj: Baharia police on Monday claimed to have arrested a man identified as Manendra Pratap who allegedly climbed atop dargah carrying saffron flags and raised slogans in Sikandra area on Sunday. Police swung into action after a purported video of the incident showing a group of three men associated with an organisation, Maharaja Suheldev Samman Suraksha Manch, arrived at the dargah in the Sikandra area on bikes and climbed atop dargah and started waiving saffron flags and raising slogans.
Before the police reached the spot, these youths managed to escape from the scene. A senior cop told TOI that one of the men involved in the incident was arrested. He added that police, after lodging FIR against four named persons and others under appropriate sections, have launched a search for those involved in the Sunday incident. TNN
