Punjab CM, SGPC spar over gurbani telecast

Chandigarh: Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann on Sunday said his government was ready to spend money on equipment to be installed at Golden Temple in Amritsar to provide free rights for broadcasting gurbani to all electronic channels. The CM also questioned the intent behind giving broadcasting rights of gurbani to a particular channel. Reacting to the statement, SGPC president H S Dhami said the Sikh body was capable of managing gurdwaras.
