DoNER forms high-level task force, Saha named convener

Agartala: Ministry of development of the north eastern region (DoNER) has formed a high-level task force making Tripura chief minister Manik Saha as the convener to boost the investment promotion in northeast.
During the 72nd Plenary of North Eastern Council (NEC) held on Dec 21, 2024, at Agartala, it was decided to constitute the high-level task force.
Accordingly, the task force was constituted in which Saha was appointed as convener and Union minister of MDoNER Jyotiraditya Scindia, Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma, Nagaland CM Neiphiu Rio and Sikkim CM Prem Singh Tamang appointed as members.
The task force will submit its reports to NEC within six months according to its terms of reference.
