Ranchi: After rain, thunderstorms, and even hailstorms hit the state a couple of days ago, Jharkhand on Sunday experienced a rise in temperature. All major weather stations in the state recorded a rise in temperature compared to what was recorded on Saturday.
Except for Jamshedpur, which recorded a day temperature 0.2 notches below normal, all other weather stations had a day temperature above normal, with Daltonganj sizzling at 41.8 degrees Celsius, followed by Garhwa (40.5 degrees Celsius). By evening, the IMD issued a forcast predicting high-speed winds and moderate thunderstorms in East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Seraikela, Kharsawan, and parts of Ranchi.
