Railway protection force retrieves valuables lost by passenger in Trichy Junction

Trichy: Railway protection force (RPF) personnel recovered and handed over a bag containing two mobile phones and 26,500 that a passenger lost while boarding a train at Trichy Junction on Sunday.
RPF said P Ramesh, 46, a resident of Udayanpatti Main Road near K K Nagar, boarded Vaigai Express from Trichy to reach Ariyalur. In the rush, he lost his handbag. Once he realised the mistake, he alerted the RPF unit in Trichy. RPF personnel found the bag on Platform 3.
The bag also contained identification cards including Aadhaar and PAN cards. RPF later handed over the bag to the passenger.
