Following their victory, Karachi Kings posted a celebratory social media reel with the caption "No learns, only wins," taking aim at Rizwan's viral statement from early 2024 - "ya toh win hai, ya learn hai."
The post featured an AI-generated video of Vince and Khushdil dancing to Indian rapper J Star's song 'Hulara'.
Earlier, Multan Sultans had posted a formidable 234/6, anchored by Mohammad Rizwan's unbeaten century of 105 off 63 balls. However, his innings faced criticism for its slow start in the initial overs.
The Sultans were at 156/3 after 16 overs before Rizwan accelerated his scoring. Michael Bracewell provided late momentum with a quick 44 not out off 17 balls, but the total proved insufficient against Karachi's powerful batting display.
Vince's aggressive batting dismantled Multan's bowling attack, particularly targeting Abbas Afridi and Shahnawaz Dahani. The Kings required just five runs in the final over to secure their victory.
The match result left Karachi Kings among the teams with victories in the tournament, while Multan Sultans joined Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi in suffering opening losses.
