CBSE Board Class 10th, 12th Result 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is poised to declare the Class 10 and Class 12 board examination results for 2025 within this week, with lakhs of students and their families on edge.However, the official date and time of release are yet to be confirmed by the board, which has cautioned against misinformation spreading across social media platforms.An estimated 44 lakh students nationwide are currently waiting for their results, which follow exams conducted from February 15 to March 18, 2025. This year, approximately 24.12 lakh Class 10 students appeared for papers across 84 subjects, while 17.88 lakh Class 12 students sat for exams in 120 subjects, making this one of the largest evaluation exercises in the Indian education system.

Once the results are declared, candidates can access their mark sheets and scorecards on the following official websites:

Students are also advised to check their results through the UMANG app, DigiLocker, and Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS), especially if the websites face heavy traffic at the time of release.

CBSE has integrated its result distribution with DigiLocker, the government’s secure cloud platform for digital documents:
  • Visit digilocker.gov.in.
  • Sign in with your existing account or register a new one.
  • Navigate to the “CBSE Results” section.
  • Input your CBSE roll number, school code, and 6-digit DigiLocker access PIN.
  • View and download your Class 10 or 12 mark sheet and other certificates.

  • Install the UMANG App: Visit the Google Play Store (for Android users) or Apple App Store (for iOS users) and search for “UMANG”. Download and install the application developed by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).
  • Register or log in: Open the app and sign up using your mobile number. You will receive a one-time password (OTP) to verify your identity. If you're already a registered user, simply log in with your existing credentials.
  • Navigate to the CBSE results section: On the app's homepage, scroll or search for the “CBSE” service. Click on the CBSE Class 10 or Class 12 Results 2025 option listed under education services.
  • Enter required credentials: Input your CBSE Roll Number, Date of Birth, School Number, and any other details as prompted. Ensure accuracy, as incorrect entries may prevent access to your result.
  • Access and download your result: After submitting your details, your CBSE result will be displayed on the screen. You can view, download, or take a screenshot for immediate use. However, remember that this is a provisional mark sheet, and the original hard copy must be collected from your school later.

For students residing in areas with limited internet connectivity or those who prefer an offline method, the CBSE IVRS facility provides an alternative means to access board examination results. This telephone-based service is easy to use and designed to ensure that all candidates, regardless of digital access, can retrieve their results in a timely manner.
  • Dial the designated IVRS number: Use a landline or mobile phone to call 24300699. Important: This number must be prefixed with the correct STD code of your local area. For example, if you are in Delhi, dial 011-24300699.
  • Follow the voice prompts carefully: Once the call connects, the automated system will guide you through a series of instructions. Listen closely to the prompts provided.
  • Enter your examination details: When prompted, enter key credentials such as your CBSE roll number, school number, and date of birth using the phone’s keypad. Make sure to input the details accurately to avoid any errors in retrieving your result.
  • Hear your result: After successfully verifying your credentials, the IVRS system will audibly announce your subject-wise marks and overall result. Be prepared to note down the information or keep a recording device handy if needed.
  • Official confirmation: Please remember that the result obtained through IVRS is provisional. Students are advised to collect the original mark sheets and certificates from their respective schools for official use.
