The Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GSHSEB) has declared the SSC Class 10 results for 2025, with an overall pass percentage of 83.08%. Over 7.4 lakh regular students appeared, and more than 6.2 lakh passed. Repeater and GSOS candidates recorded 32.26% and 27.18% pass rates, respectively. The exams were conducted smoothly across 989 centers. Supplementary exams under the “Best of Two” scheme will be held in June 2025 for students aiming to improve their scores.

GSHSEB announces SSC results 2025, supplementary exam in June under “Best of Two” scheme
GSEB SSC Result 2025: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has officially declared the results of the Class 10 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Examination 2025 today. This year, the overall pass percentage stands at a commendable 83.08%, marking a strong academic performance by students across the state.The examinations were conducted smoothly across 989 centers in 87 zones, encompassing 3203 examination venues and 31,397 halls, during the February-March 2025 session. A total of 762,485 regular candidates had registered for the exam, of which 746,892 appeared. Hall tickets were made available online, ensuring convenient access for students through their respective schools. Additionally, to secure the question paper distribution process, the Board employed the ‘Paper Box Authentication and Tracking Application’, ensuring timely and safe delivery from parcel zone offices to examination centers.
Apart from regular students, the Board also saw participation from 82,313 repeater candidates, with 78,613 appearing. Among them, 25,357 passed, recording a pass percentage of 32.26%. The Gujarat State Open School (GSOS) also witnessed the participation of 19,925 candidates, of whom 18,553 appeared, and 5,043 passed, resulting in a 27.18% pass rate.Board officials expressed satisfaction with the smooth conduct and timely conclusion of the examinations, emphasizing the peaceful and disciplined environment in which the tests were held. The Board also appreciated the cooperation and support from various government departments and officials.“I am happy to announce the result of the SSC Examination 2025, which was conducted successfully across the state,” said a GSHSEB spokesperson. “We are thankful for the consistent guidance and support of the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Education Ministers, Secretaries, Home Department, police officials, and local administration, which played a vital role in the successful execution of the exams.”Students who did not pass or are dissatisfied with their results need not lose hope. The Board will conduct supplementary exams in June 2025 under the “Best of Two” scheme. This initiative allows students to improve their performance, with the better score of the two attempts being considered for their final result.The Board concluded by congratulating all successful students and encouraging others to take advantage of the upcoming supplementary exams to better their results.
