Gabe Davis, a 26-year-old wide receiver for the Jacksonville Jaguars, was released by the Jaguars after a year. His former team, the one that drafted him, was the Buffalo Bills. On May 7, when the NFL announced Gabe Davis’ departure from the Jaguars, some fans predicted that the Buffalo Bills could be his next stop. And, some wanted Davis to go to the Pittsburgh Steelers. While some thought it was Travis Hunter! A fan even wrote, “Must mean Travis Hunter is seeing more receptions.” Another analyzed the release, "The Jaguars signed Gabe Davis to a 3 year $39 million contract just to catch 20 balls and be released a year later."
But nobody knows Gabe Davis' next stop. For now, all we know is that the WR was released by the Jaguars after one season and that Travis Hunter was just hired by them! Also, didn’t Hunter express his desire to play a dual character? Wide receiver and a cornerback? Does that mean the Jaguars have two characters in one rookie, and so, they bid goodbye to Gabe Davis? Only time will tell. Anyway, for now, let’s go through fan reactions because finding someone out there who thinks just like us is the happiest thing to happen to anyone!
