British Council opens registrations for Summer School 2025 to enhance youth communication skills
NEW DELHI: Summer holidays often present an ideal opportunity for children to develop new skills beyond the academic environment. With this in mind, the British Council, the UK’s international organisation for cultural relations and educational opportunities, has officially opened registrations for its eagerly awaited Summer School 2025.
Designed for young learners aged 6 to 17, the programme aims to combine education with creativity in a supportive, face-to-face classroom setting. The initiative is part of the British Council’s ongoing commitment to nurture confidence, communication, and self-expression among school-aged children across India.
A balance of language skills and creative exploration
Summer School 2025 offers a unique, theme-based approach that integrates structured learning with fun, hands-on activities. This year, two engaging themes take centre stage: Communicating with clarity and Engaging with confidence.
The Communicating with clarity module helps students articulate their thoughts clearly in both speech and writing. It places strong emphasis on vocabulary building, articulation, and the effective sharing of ideas. Meanwhile, Engaging with confidence introduces participants to writing, pitching, and discussion-based tasks. These activities are designed to foster analytical thinking and effective content presentation—skills that prove valuable both within and beyond academic settings.
Customised tracks and age-appropriate learning
The programme features age-specific tracks, ensuring that learners receive guidance tailored to their developmental stage. With an emphasis on nurturing individual growth, each session is designed to support children through their learning journey and help them emerge with stronger language skills and greater self-assurance.
The Summer School 2025 spans two weeks per theme, with classes held two hours each day, from Monday to Friday. All sessions are conducted in a low-pressure environment, fostering both collaboration and creativity.
