The film revolves around Ishaan, a young lad from a bonedi family, who lost his father when he was a child. So Ishaan shifts his base to North Bengal from Kolkata with his lawyer uncle Sibasish and mother Aloka. Ishaan grows up to be a freelance photographer who is also quite skilled at painting too. Meanwhile, Tilottoma, a widow, whose husband died seven years ago, is suddenly reminded of her tragic past.
Then, Ishaan enters her life as a ray of sunshine. During their clashing indifferences and unrequited love, will their love ever see the light of day? That’s what this film talks all about. Director Argha Deep Chatterjee says that it's also a story about love, hope, and sacrifice.
