Sujoy casts Kamalika in 'Kahaani'

Kamalika Banerjee has has been roped in by director Sujoy Ghosh for 'Kahaani'.
'Though the character I essay in this film is not lengthy, still my role does add on to the film. I play a government officer. I have acted in Hindi serials before. But this is my debut in a Hindi film. I'm quite excited to work with Vidya Balan and Sujoy Ghosh,' said the actor, who is presently shooting for Partha Sarathi Joardar's as-yet-untitled film with Priyanka and Kamaleswar.'Talks are on with Buddhadeb Dasgupta for his next where I essay the role of a detective's wife. That apart, I have been approached by debut director, Aditi, for her film where I essay Suman Mukhopadhyay's wife,' informs Kamalika.
