The upcoming romantic drama has the hit pair of Soham Chakraborty and Srabanti Chatterjee in the lead. The title track features the female lead Riya (Srabanti Chatterjee) lamenting an agonising separation from her love interest Rabi (Soham Chakraborty).Priyo Chatterjee’s touching lyrics in the song explore Riya’s secret despair of going down a wrong path which has tormented her life.
‘Piya Re’ is touted to be a passionate love saga between Rabi and Riya who get separated on facing some unfortunate incidents. Whether Rabi ultimately saves Riya from destroying her life and reunites with her form the crux of the film.
For the unintended, Soham and Srabanti last appeared together in the 2015 box-office hit ‘Sudhu Tomari Jonnye’. Their onscreen chemistry has always been a huge hit among the fans.
