‘Pariah – Vol 1: Every Street Dog Has a Name’ famed actor
Soumya Mukherjee is all set for his next gig, a Bengali web series. Soumya’s new web series ‘Dekhechi Tomake Srabone’, where he is paired with actress Neha Amandeep, is slated to release in September this year. The motion poster of the series is out.
‘Dekhechi Tomake Srabone’, helmed by Arijit Totone Chakraborty, is going to be a love story set in the backdrop of a city during monsoon.
The story revolves around Rudra (played by Soumya), the son of a powerful promoter Biswanath, who falls for Ira (played by Neha), a young widow devoted to her late husband, Ayan. Despite Rudra's efforts, Ira rejects him, clinging to her past. Amidst all the chaos, how Ira and Rudra find companionship and fall in love with each other, sums up the essence of ‘Dekhechi Tomake Srabone’.
Director Arijeet Toton Chakrabarty, who is known for his popular web series ‘Preme Pora Baron’, aims to cater a unique love story to the audience that explores the chemistry between two different kinds of characters. The series boasts an ensemble cast, including Bharat Kal, Tulika Bose, Maina Mukherji, and Aditya Bakshi apart from Soumy and Neha. The web series will be available for online streaming in this September.
Soumya Mukherjee, a familiar face in Tollywood, has expressed his excitement about playing the role of Rudra, which has many layers. The actor received much appreciation for his work in ‘Pariah – Vol 1: Every Street Dog Has a Name’. On the other hand, Neha Amandeep, who is known for her work on the small screen, was last seen on Bengali TV serial ‘Jogomaya’, which concluded a while ago. Neha is all set to take on the challenge of Ira, who wants to give herself a second chance at being in love.
The series will feature songs by popular singer Lagnajita Chakraborty and Debayan to the tunes of Savvy. The series is going to be available for online streaming from September.
