Jack Black recently shared how he and Jason Momoa became good friends while working together on 'A Minecraft Movie.' The two actors may have seemed like an unexpected pair at first, but they quickly developed what Jack described as real “bro chemistry.”
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Jack and Jason appeared together wearing matching colorful knitwear and talked about their growing friendship. I hoped it would be magic — and by God, I think it was.”
Jack recalled thinking Jason was intimidating when he first saw him. He mentioned that Jason looked “scary” because of his intense role as Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones. Jack joked, wondering where they had found “this killer.” But his opinion quickly changed when he watched Jason in Aquaman, where he saw a lighter and funnier side of him. Jack said he started to think of Jason as someone cool, funny, and full of surprises. “This dude’s got levels and gears,” he said, adding that he thought it would be fun to party with Jason — and eventually, they did!
The two actors grew close while working on the Minecraft project, and their easygoing energy became one of the movie’s highlights. Their natural chemistry and playful humor have even been noticed by fans, who enjoy seeing their lighthearted interactions in interviews and behind-the-scenes clips.
