The collapse happened at Jet Set nightclub in Santo Domingo on Tuesday, during a live merengue concert. This incident has shaken the nation, and now stars with personal ties to the Dominican Republic are expressing their sadness and support.
Cardi B, who has Dominican roots through her father, shared a tribute on her Instagram Story. She posted a picture of the Dominican Republic with a black ribbon over it, a symbol of mourning. Though she didn’t write a caption, the image spoke volumes to her millions of followers.
