Taylor, who has received six nominations, including Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Song of the Year, is confirmed to attend and will also take the stage at some point during the event to reportedly present an award, though a confirmation about the same is still awaited.
While Taylor’s presence at the awards is guaranteed, her NFL superstar boyfriend won’t be accompanying her—and for good reason. According to a report on TMZ, Travis is skipping the Grammys to stay focused on his Super Bowl preparation. As The Kansas City Chiefs are set to compete against the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl 2025, which will take place on February 9—just one week after the Grammys. With such a crucial game ahead, the hunk is reportedly prioritizing practice over an appearance with his lady love.
This marks the second consecutive year that Kelce has missed the Grammys due to his football commitments. He was also absent from the 2024 Grammys for the same reason, while Taylor made history with her wins that night.
Though Kelce won’t be at the Grammys, the couple has been showing up for each other in their respective events. Recently, Taylor was spotted at Kelce’s latest game, cheering him on from the stands. Following the Chiefs’ victory, she joined him on the field to celebrate with a kiss.
