Wilson College stood out for the sheer volume of talent at the Clean and Clear Bombay Times Fresh Face contest, 2014. However, girls clearly had an upper hand as they enthralled the audience with some great performances. Winner Susan Thomas, a dancer, swayed to the Lovely number. Among the boys, aspiring actor Maysam Rahimpur got cheers for his monologue from Haider.

Harsh Kayathwal, a sports fan, was chosen winner for his sporting spirit and for displaying rare cricket knocks.



Sidelights like a male student holding up a banner saying, ‘Will you marry me?’ to catch attention of the female contestants, kept the humour alive. It was déjà vu for celebrity judge Nidhi Subbaiah, who had shot the courtroom scene of her film OMG – Oh My God! in the college a few years ago. “It was amazing to see talented students. They entertained us for almost three hours! I didn’t have the guts to step on the stage when I was their age,” said Nidhi.
