‘Jaat’ Box Office Collection Day 16: Sunny Deol-starrer records its lowest on third Friday as it competes with Emraan Hashmi’s ‘Ground Zero’ and Akshay Kumar’s ‘Kesari 2’

The ‘Gadar 2’ star made it to the big screens this year with ‘Jaat.’ Released on April 10, 2025, the movie has completed a successful theatrical run of 16 days and entered the third week. With its fair share of ups and downs, it maintained a strong grip at the box office and currently has crossed the Rs. 80 crore mark. However, if we look at the day 16 collection of the film, it can be seen that the Sunny Deol and Randeep Hooda action drama is slowly losing its charm.

As Jaat entered its second week in theatres, it faced stiff competition from Kesari Chapter 2, starring Akshay Kumar, R Madhavan, and Ananya Panday. Despite the challenge, the courtroom drama managed to leave a strong impression on both critics and audiences. On its second Friday, April 25, the film earned Rs 4.51 crore at the box office.
On the other hand, Emraan Hashmi’s ‘Ground Zero’, which made it to the theatres this Friday, as per the early estimates, has made Rs. 1 crore business.
