After making Rs 55 lakh in a day, the John Abraham and Sadia Khateeb-starrer saw a 70 percent jump in earnings as more people visited theaters over the weekend.

The Diplomat earned Rs 1.40 crore on its third Saturday, bringing its total collection to Rs 31.25 crore, according to a report in Sacnilk.
It remains to be seen how Shivam Nair's The Diplomat performs on Sunday. With Salman Khan's stardom, Sikandar is expected to dominate screens, which could impact John Abraham's film's earnings.

As it enters its seventh weekend, the film faces competition from Salman Khan's Sikandar, releasing on March 30, and the Malayalam film L2: Empuraan. Despite these new releases, Chhaava remains the highest-grossing film of the year and the most successful in Kaushal's career. The movie is slated for an OTT release on Netflix on April 11.
