Anupam Kher's upset with Rahul Rawail?

Filmmaker Rahul Rawail’s collaboration with the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, New York, to launch its Indian counterpart, won him a lot of praise from many except for one man: Anupam Kher.
Rawail’s institute is in Santacruz, a stone-throw away from Anupam Kher’s acting academy. And guess what, Rahul and Anupam are supposedly very close friends.
Our source says, “Anupam has worked in many of Rahul’s films.But Rahul’s decision to open an acting institute next to his is surprising, as it means eating into each other’s business.”
Rahul disagrees and says, “Having two acting institutions in the same area should not affect either because the system of training at one will be different from the other.”
Sadly, a livid Anupam Kher is not convinced. He says, “The way the industry is growing there is a place for everybody. Just as I made a place for myself everyone else can. However what the others don’t have and my school has, is Anupam Kher and that is the USP of my school. We have a very disciplined set of brilliant teachers. It doesn’t have retired actors suddenly realising that kuch karne ko nahi hai so let’s start an acting school.”
He is quick to add, “But just because Rahul has a school in my area does not mean that I don’t have warmth for him. He has the right to do what he wants to do.” And so do students who choose his institute over yours, right Anupam?
