Despite this, his stepmother Hema Malini and stepsister Esha Deol appear pleased with the audience's response, as they expressed their happiness over the film’s performance and the love it’s receiving.

Speaking to Instant Bollywood, Hema talked about the success of Sunny's film 'Jaat'. She mentioned, "I heard it opened with a big bang. It feels great that people are enjoying it... Dharam ji is very happy... I believe the film is really good." Esha Deol also expressed her joy, saying, "I'm so happy, and it's all due to his hard work and the love people have for him. I'm thrilled that the film has opened big, which is how it should always be for him."
About the Film 'Jaat'
Directed by Gopichand Malineni, 'Jaat' hit theaters on April 10. Featuring high-octane drama and intense action, the film stars Randeep Hooda as the antagonist alongside Vineet Kumar Singh, Saiyami Kher, and Regina Cassandra. As per the trade, Jaat has grossed Rs 13 crore worldwide on its opening day, a figure that falls short compared to Akshay Kumar’s Sky Force and Salman Khan’s recently released film Sikandar.

On the work front, Sunny Deol has several projects lined up. He is set to appear in 'Border 2', which will feature Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty, and Diljit Dosanjh. Additionally, he starred in Rajkumar Santoshi's 'Lahore 1947' alongside Preity Zinta. Sunny is also part of the big-budget project 'Ramayana', where he will play the role of Hanuman.
